United Way of Tarrant County

About

United Way of Tarrant County provides "Thank You" cards to area veterans and to our nation’s military overseas on the front lines.

Volunteers are needed to write cards that United Way will distribute on a monthly basis. Current partners in this project include:

  • Adopt a US Soldier (AAUSS)
  • Area hospice facilities
  • Area nursing, rehabilitation and memory care centers
  • Meals On Wheels, Inc. of Tarrant County
  • Presbyterian Night Shelter
  • VA North Texas Healthcare System

To participate:

Volunteers will be emailed a PDF template to print as many cards as needed to complete the project. Sample message statements will be provided. There is no minimum number of cards to complete.
