Interested in clean water and safe habitats for wildlife? Join the San Diego River Park Foundation and Benchmark Brewing Co for a special river clean-up and end of the year celebration.
We need your help to haul mounds of trash and debris from the San Diego River. Our goal is to achieve a trash-free San Diego River and you can help us finish 2016 strong! After the clean up, everyone is welcome to relax and socialize at Benchmark Brewing. Volunteers who are over 21 can enjoy donated beer from Benchmark!

The San Diego River Park Foundation is dedicated to fostering stewardship and appreciation of the region’s namesake waterway. In order to protect and enhance the San Diego River as a place for recreation, habitat, and nature discovery, we are dedicated to engaging people to be stewards of the River and working towards the vision of a 52 mile, river-long system of parks, open spaces, and community places.
Description
We organize many different volunteer stewardship activities each month. River Cleanups, native plant gardening, habitat restoration, volunteer leadership, water quality testing, outreach and education, special event committees, technical committees and more.
