Mission Statement
Streetlight Magazine is an online art & literary journal that publishes poetry, prose and visual media that explores a specific place. Our mission is to shine a light on the places where you live, work and love.
Description
We are a group made up mostly of retired editors and writers that volunteer to read submissions of prose and poetry. Our editors choose the best of the submissions and then publish those stories and artwork on our website. As a non-profit, our main fund-raising goal is to pay for web hosting service and other attendant expenses, but we would like to have a budget to support local writing groups and conferences. Currently we are expanding and in need of a volunteers to help with developing sections of the website and to do community outreach.
