Former adoptees or youth in foster care request information from their closed case records. Those records need to be retrieved from an off-site records management center, reviewed, and assessed for the information that can be released in accordance with the governing laws. This volunteer will assist with this function.

Description

Catholic Guardian Services, founded in 1899, is a multi-service human service organization, sponsored by Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of NY. We provide child abuse and neglect prevention, foster care, adoption, youth employment readiness, maternity services, parenting education, shelter care for unaccompanied minors, and services for people with developmental disabilities.
