Are you creative, self-motivated, and have experience fundraising? Have you had experience writing grants for nonprofit organizations? Maybe you're a people person, and love to network. If so, this may be just the opportunity for you!

Bridge Women's Support Center is looking for a Grant Writer/Fundraising Assistant volunteer who is enthusiastic and self-motivated. This person will assist with grant writing, connecting and networking with local businesses, and increasing fundraising efforts.

The position reports to our Executive Director, who primarily works in our Flushing office. Hours are flexible and the position some work can be done remotely if needed.

Bridge Women's Support Center. is a non-judgmental, non-sectarian, and apolitical organization dedicated to offering women and men the resources they need in a pregnancy crisis. We also support families in need through our material assistance program at Bridge Women's Support Center. We help all who come to us regardless of faith, age, race, or marital status. We do this with counseling that is informative, compassionate and honest.

Description

Since 1992, we have counseled and assisted anyone who is in a crisis pregnancy or unable to provide necessities for their children. We also provide material assistance such as layettes as well as clothing for expectant mothers, babies and children. In addition, we can provide cribs, carriages, car seats and an assortment of many other essential items.
