The Georgia E. Gregory Interdenominational School of Music (GEGISOM) along with Thankful Bapt. church and community organizations are hosting our Sixth Avenue Arts Fest that will be scaled down to a food give away for the community due to COVID19. Volunteers are needed to distribute the food, some to take surveys of each person served. some for clean up. 2-3 artist will perform on the school grounds to offer entertainment while families are served. Safety is our primary concern as well as feee the hungry while we recover from COVID19. Please call 215-430-0435 , send resume with interest to joycegeg@gmail,com. All volunteers must have the Pa. The Georgia E. Gregory Interdenominational School Of Music is a venue that offers music and educational opportunites for youth and adutls ages five and up. We also offer a wholesome afterschool and summer program for at risk youth in the underserved community of North Philadelphia.
Music training on all instruments, all grenres of music but a focus on sacred music.
Program is operated in underserved community of North Philadelphia. A two story building connected with five class rooms for music and educational programming.
Music program consist of instruction on keyboard, dance, voice, piano, organ, woodwinds and percussion. Tutoring in math, reading and writing.
Summer music and performing arts camp for ages 6 to 13. Seven weeks of music classes for keyboard, percussion, dance , voice, arts & crafts, swimming, trips and recreational activities.
