Take the lead in supporting young people in ongoing one-on-one and group mentoring relationships. Serve as a mentor with a goal of being a positive role model and building trust with youth by participating in athletic (Basketball, Football, Baseball) practices and competitions together. You'll have the opportunity to strive for mutual respect, foster self-esteem and motivation with kids from the Austin community of Chicago, Illinois. Volunteers or interns have the opportunity to help as a head coach, assistant coach, team manager or serve in other support roles with our sports fraternity. Are you up for the task?
