On tour, you will take people into 7 of our historic structures telling them about the artifcats inside. Our training manual and course will teach you about the buildings, who lived in them, LA history, the Victorian lifestyle and more. It is then up to you to distill that information into your own tour that can focus on what you find most interesting and important to share with our guests.

About Heritage Square Museum
Location:
3800 Homer Street, Los Angeles, CA 90031, US
Mission Statement
To collect, preserve and interpret the architecture, physical environment and culture of Southern California from 1850 to 1950.
Description
Heritage Square is a living history museum dedicated to telling the story of the development of Los Angeles. At the museum, eight historic structures (dating from 1876 to 1899, five of which are listed on the National Register of Historic Landmarks), were saved from demolition and moved to the museum site. These eight historically important buildings demonstrate why preservation in our communities is so important.
Tours are available each weekend from 12 to 4 p.m. and group and school tours by appointment during the week. Our tours, exhibits, and special events provide a glimpse of Southern California as it looked 100 years ago, from the beginnings of the Industrial Revolution to the subsequent development of Los Angeles.
