Do you have a passion for working with young people? Support youth in your community to thrive by volunteering as a Tutor-Mentor with PPL Scholars!

  • Build a strong relationship through 1:1 match with youth (grades K-5)
  • Tutor reading & writing
  • Engage youth in fun, enriching activities
  • No experience required - training provided

Mondays & Wednesdays, 5:30-7:45pm (Oct 14 - May 6)

Project for Pride in Living (PPL) is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering low-income families to become self-reliant through integrated services. PPL Scholars takes place at PPL’s supportive housing sites serving families transitioning from homelessness.

Project for Pride in Living, Inc. (PPL) is dedicated to serving individuals and families struggling with poverty, limited education, and other complex barriers to self-reliance. Over our 43-year history as a nonprofit, we have developed a broad range of highly integrated programs that help participants build more stable lives.
