Volunteers of America Texas, a faith-based organization, is committed to serving people in need, strengthening families and building communities.

Description

In the greater Houston area, Volunteers of America provides a broad range of services, including housing and chemical dependency treatment for women and women with children, prevention programs for at-risk children and families, home-based case management and support services for those with developmental or physical disabilities, and housing for low income seniors, the homeless and the disabled.

Since 1912 our faith-based organization has been serving our Houston neighbors and providing opportunities for individuals and families to improve their life circumstances. We strive to provide highly effective services that empower people to meet their full potential, restore their hope and their spirit, and rebuild their lives. In all our efforts, we strive to perform our services with deep compassion and respect for those we serve.
