Volunteering as a Literacy Tutor at the beautiful Livermore Public Library was an absolutely wonderful experience. During training, I made a lot of friends, and felt ready to work with an adult learner. During my tutoring period, I really felt like I was making a difference in my adult learner's life. Carey, the Literary Coordinator, is a bright ray of sunshine, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with her. I would recommend this opportunity to absolutely everyone. It's incredibly rewarding.
