Mission Statement

The purpose of Lighthouse High School is to educate the mind, empower the ambition, and enable all students to become the best they can be, contributing citizens who can succeed in an ever-changing world. Lighthouse High School is committed to focusing on high expectations and individual academic success and to creating a responsible community of respectable leaders.

Description

Lighthouse High School, founded in 2003 in the city of Orlando Florida. The founder Dr. Ted Ridoré had a passion for literacy and a desire to help reduce the statistical students who had dropped out of formal High school due to circumstances in life. Dr. Ridore is determined against all odds the help those who are yet still have a burning desire to complete their High School education, earn it. Dr. Ridore's zeal and desire to educate, inspire, and motivate people to learn was birthed out of his own life experience. He too, did not earn his HSD until much later in his age. He wants to make a difference, you can too!
