Great place to contribute your talent helping others. The City of Orange Library have a great helpful and friendly staff. Parents in the community rely on the library to provide free tutoring service for kids - lots of opportunities.

Volunteer work at the Orange Public Library is a very gratifying experience for several reasons. First, as a volunteer, I am endorsing, supporting and helping to facilitate cultural literacy among the American public. Secondly, it is a great way to give back to the public library system in general, an institution which has, for over a hundred years, offered the public a world of free learning. Thirdly, it is simply a fun, easy way to serve my fellow man, which is the primary goal of all volunteerism. Lastly, as a Welcome Desk volunteer at OPL, I'm given the opportunity to hone and develop my interpersonal and social skills. In a nutshell, volunteerism with OPL is a Win Win situation.
