Summary: At SVDP we are dedicated to delivering an outstanding shopping experience that exceeds the expectations of our customers. Primary responsibilities: Display honesty and integrity, demonstrate energy and enthusiasm Properly price and hang items ready to go on the sales floor. Be self-motivated to ensure a consistent work pace necessary for optimum performance. Performs/assists in other duties as assigned. Examples may include, but are not limited to: price changes, fitting room recovery, sales floor and fitting room recovery outside of immediate department area, housekeeping duties, preparation and taking of inventory, and stock room organization. Keep the fitting room area clean and clutter free with return rack being worked on throughout the day. Maintain a working knowledge of all SVDP merchandise to keep the floor full and maximize each sale by pulling and back stocking SVDP merchandise. Demonstrate a passion for delivering exceptional guest service and ensure every guest receives the personalized service they expect. May be assigned to work in multiple departments to help customers and the store team to achieve daily result

Be a part of our largest and most in-need-of-help department. Apparel is always plentiful and you can help at various stages of processing. Each piece is checked four times for quality. First in donations, second by the apparel supervisor, third by the price processors, and the last time by the rack runners. This process allows us to keep our overflowing sales floor stocked with the best clothes for the community. Thankfully NO clothes are sent to the landfill that comes through SVdP. Price Processing- If you enjoy working around others and the idea of tagging clothes then price processing, offers a friendly setting. When you work in price processing you sit at an apparel station where you take carts that are separated by price and tag and hang the clothes on a hanger by size. These stations are in the center of the warehouse and a social hub. Some math is required at times but we will train you. Rack runners- Do you like to keep moving? Organizing and color coding? Rack runners take racks of pre-priced clothes and merchandise them on the sales floor. Rack runners also help to maintain the dressing rooms and return racks. This is a great option for anyone who loves clothes and enjoys social interactions. Rack runners spend the most time on the sales floor and therefore they get to know the customers.

Saint Vincent de Paul Neenah processes through thousands of books every year. Join our book team today and experience books new and old. None of our books end up in the landfill! This position does involve computer work but we will train anyone who is interested.

St. Vincent de Paul accepts donations Monday through Saturday. We are looking for volunteers to help sort incoming donations into their following departments. Saturday hours are 9:00am-3:00pm and Monday-Friday is 9:00am-5:00pm. A minimum shift would be 2-3 hours.

Saint Vincent de Paul in Neenah is in need of cashier volunteers. Shifts are available in 4 hour slots with staff available at all times for backup. We are looking for friendly faces and volunteers 16 and over with some experience preferred. We are willing to train and volunteers receive a 50% off discount after 30 days off everything in the store $15.00 and under.

The Neenah- Menasha St Vincent de Paul is an association of lay employees and volunteers dedicated to serve the needy of the Neenah-Menasha area, including portions of the Town of Neenah and the Town of Menasha. All who ask for assistance or come to our store are welcomed with dignity and respect. Customers, employees, volunteers and those served are treated equally without regard to race, color, creed, age, sex or national origin. All people, including the disadvantaged, handicapped and other special persons are employed so that we may all benefit from the talents and abilities of everyone seeking employment.
Description
Over 50 years ago, we started this effort by taking donated clothing and household items that people no longer have a use for and we make these things available to the people here in Neenah-Menasha who have a dire need. We have accomplished so much over the years but the need continues to grow. This year we will have over 5,000 people who need our help - and we don’t turn anyone away. We have a crew of over 120 volunteers that run our store. They are not paid for their time. They volunteer because they know there is an extreme need and because they really care.
