United Ministries provides a continuum of care that moves program participants from a survival mode to stabilization to barrier removal to self-reliance. Survival programs include emergency assistance in the form of food and assistance with rent and utilities, and a day shelter for the homeless. Stabilization programs involve extensive case management. Barrier Removal programs include Employment Readiness that helps participants through the employment process to obtain and maintain jobs earning a minimum of $8.50 per hour.
