Children's Cancer Association

The Children's Cancer Association (CCA) was founded in 1995 in memory of Alexandra, a Portland, Oregon girl, to support children and families in crisis. Working from the unique perspective of parents who have been there and understand the situation, CCA brings music, wishes and friendship to seriously ill children, and support and information to parents and families searching for answers. CCA's programs are available free of charge to children and families in Oregon and Southwest Washington, and are delivered in close partnership with Doernbecher Children's Hospital and Legacy Emanuel Children's Hospital in Portland, Oregon.

Mission Statement

The Children's Cancer Association's goal is simple: our programs bring the joy of music, the magic of wishes, the power of information, and compassion for seriously ill children and their families.
