CAC of Central Texas provides a child friendly room so that children can tell what happened and be videotaped so that they do not have to tell what happened multiple times. Also facilitates multidisciplinary team meetings to encourage joint investigations in child abuse cases.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Children's Advocacy Center of Central Texas is to protect and assist child victims of abuse by providing on-site agency collaboration and the use of the multidisciplinary team approach in prevention, investigation, assessment, and referral for prosecution and treatment of child abuse.
