The mission of the National Association of Professional Women of Howard County, Maryland is To Make A Difference through community outreach, charitable endeavors and professional development and to provide a forum where we can volunteer and share ideas, experiences and resources.

NAPW Howard County, MD

With over 700 members, we are able to host creative and interactive events every month that help our members and the community grow professionally. This chapter is constantly seeking new opportunities for our members, while creating relationships that range from friendships to professional connections that can benefit our members and their philanthropic initiatives.

NAPW President Star Jones established the NAPW Foundation as the non-profit philanthropic initiative of the National Association of Professional Women. Our mission is simple: to make a difference in the lives of women and girls through service, sisterhood and self-help.

NAPW Local Chapters pay it forward by raising awareness of issues and causes impacting communities and the world. Through monthly Local Chapter networking initiatives, events and activities, NAPW members encourage and support the Foundation’s founding philanthropic partners-the American Heart Association, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Dress for Success and Girls Inc.
