With so many government programs available, it's surprising how many moms don't qualify--and yet they struggle. Struggle to meet the needs of their family and meet their own needs. The Mother's Nest is a community of women all about meeting moms where their needs are whether it's support during pregnancy through our doula staff, lactation support through our certified specialist, car seat safety checks, and counseling support for postpartum depression, anxiety, and many other experiences a new mom endures. Classes and programs encompass many areas of family: childbirth, financial, marriage, and loss of a child along with monthly gatherings for pregnant and new moms, toddler moms, and playgroups for children. All of this is remarkable catching on and growing as we continue to reach out to a demographic of our nation seeking acceptance and value for the contributions and sacrifices made each and every day. Momhood is powerfully gratifying but it has moments where help and support make vast differences in the success of each and every family represented through moms who pass our doors.
