Hemophilia is a disease that does not allow blood to clot properly, which can result in bleeds affecting joints and muscles. Untreated, it can lead to deterioration of joints or muscles, & can even be life-threatening. There is no cure, but those affected can live relatively normal lives with proper treatment. Treatment can be extremely expensive, costing $100,000 - $300,000 per year and can exceed $1 million per year if complications arise. Our programs include: A 5- day camp for approximately 100 children ages 7-17. Post-secondary educational scholarships. An annual Educational Seminar, Emergency short-term financial assistance, Teen retreats. Advocacy,Information meetings and Social Activities
