A-SPAN programs include

  • Opportunity Place: A year-round daytime drop-in center providing direct outreach, case management, employment services and housing programs.
  • Emergency Winter Shelter: A seasonal facility open November through March which provides shelter, clothing, meals and supportive services to up to 88 people nightly.
  • Homeless Bagged Meal Program: A volunteer-run daily food program which provides a bagged meal and hot soup to people on the street nightly, year-round.
Mission Statement

A-SPAN is a community-based organization which provides life-sustaining services for Arlington's homeless. Our mission is to provide permanent housing for this vulnerable population through outreach, support and relationships built on trust and respect.
