Texas State Aquarium



The Aquarium is designed to be an interpretive center focusing on the plants and animals native to the Gulf of Mexico. The visitor is taken on an undersea journey that begins at the shore and continues deeper into the waters of the Gulf.

Mission: Connecting people with nature and inspiring conservation of the Gulf of Mexico.

Vision: To be a nationally-recognized Aquarium leader in creating entertaining, educationally enriching programming; conducting wildlife rehabilitation; and supporting conservation.
