To provide, promote and support equine assisted activities for individuals who have mental, physical, emotional and/or learning disabling conditions.

Description

EQUI-KIDS was formed in 1989 to promote and encourage persons with disabilites through the interaction with equine assisted activities on a weekly basis. EQUI-KIDS moved to their permanent location in 2009 allowing current programs to grow and to offer new programs such as EQUI-VETS, a wounded warriors program.

EQUI-KIDS is a wonderful non-profit organization that provides equine assisted activities to individuals with physical, social, mental or learning disabling conditions. I enjoy volunteering here and being around horses. It is very rewarding to Sidewalk with the riders and help them during lessons. I have also met a lot of people through volunteering. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming.
