Chicago Coalition for the Homeless

Since 1980, CCH has had a clear mission: We organize and advocate to prevent and end homelessness, because housing is a human right in a just society. CCH leads strategic campaigns, community outreach and public policy initiatives that target access to affordable housing, living wage jobs and public schools. CCH advocacy is effective and meaningful because the CCH community organizers, policy specialists and public interest lawyers work alongside people who have lived with homelessness. We work with mothers with children, public school students, unaccompanied youths, low-wage workers and ex-offenders.

Mission Statement

Chicago Coalition for the Homeless organizes and advocates to prevent and end homelessness based on our belief that housing is a human right in a just society.
