Imagine someday all cancer and chronic illnesses can be prevented and/or cured via integrative approaches (bridging evidence-based holistic medicine with conventional medicine). Imagine everyone can achieve wholeness in mind-body-spirit, and be free of chronic illness and cancer. AlterMed is seeking an on-going reliable, competent, experienced marketing and social media volunteer, who can market AlterMed's mission and the latest programs including Personalized Patient Access Program and likely 2025 Colorado Integrative Medicine Conference for community engagement and mission support. This person must be passionate about holistic healthcare based on science and patients' wellness. AlterMed Research Foundation (www.AlterMedResearch.org) is seeking a geneticist who is interested to share your expertise to strategize and form partnerships to develop a model for personalized lifestyle recommendations. Using the latest technologies and applying them in health care, beyond current conventional medicine treating only symptoms, we are beginning to have information to understand our unique genomes, phenotypes, and enjoy having more and more personalized and targeted health solutions involving epigenetics and other -omics. We hope for the day where we can all experience optimum health and wellness to pursue our dreams, not having to worry about health issues like chronic illness, cancer, and / or aging body parts. The mission of AlterMed Research Foundation is to be a change agent, through research and education, to achieve the full integration of evidence-based complementary and alternative medicine into conventional healthcare so all people can enjoy optimum wellness. AlterMed plans to focus in 3 areas: (1) for chronic health conditions and cancer, collaborate with universities and partners to find and understand mechanisms, causes, treatments / cures, and prevention, leveraging the power of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Genomics, and Big Data using holistic datasets. (2) help patients to better navigate to credible holistic health practitioners, and (3) obtain funding for regular Continuous Medical Education in evidence-based holistic health (e.g. successful past Colorado Integrative Medicine Conferences jointly sponsored by the University of Colorado School of Medicine) This volunteer must be a US Citizen and / or a legal US resident (preferably located in Northern Colorado)

AlterMed is seeking an experienced grantwriter (with demonstrated success in receiving large grants and donations), who is passionate about increasing evidence-based holistic / integrative medicine education, research, and underserved patient access so more humans can enjoy optimum wellness, free of cancer and chronic illness. The grantwriter is responsible to write letters of inquiry and grants to fund AlterMed Research Foundation's programs in integrative medicine education / research / patient access, and to grow AlterMed’s capacity. The grant-writing volunteer must be able: to communicate well verbally, to research/identify/reach & cultivate funders who have aligned goals, and to write high quality and successful proposals meeting deadlines. Also because of the rapid technological advancement with AI, data science, genomics (and other -omics) - the ideal grant-writer would be someone who is interested in technologies, evidence-based holistic healthcare (both conventional and complementary & alternative medicine), and grant-writing for optimum human wellness free of cancer and chronic illness. Specific current programs for grant-writing: (1) Colorado Integrative Medicine Conference, (2) underserved patient access of evidenced-based personalized / integrative medicine, and (2) Ongoing staff salaries for an experienced executive director, a development director, and a grantwriter so we can fulfill our nonprofit mission to serve the communities with improved healthcare.
