Rappahannock Area Chapter (American Red Cross)

The Rappahannock Area Chapter of the American Red Cross provides services to disaster victims; emergency communications and services for the US Armed Forces and their families; life saving education programs in CPR, First Aid, AED, Learn to Swim and HIV/AIDS; youth volunteer opportunities; Letters to Santa Holiday Assistance Program for needy children, and the Hearts n Hands Guild, knitting and crocheting articles for those in need. The chapter serves the residents in the counties of Caroline, King George, Stafford, Spotyslvania and Orange, and the City of Fredericksburg.

Mission Statement

The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization, led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross movement, which will provide disaster relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.

They are a true volunteer organization 100% donations good back to the community for emergency funcitions.
