We are the largest disaster relief organization in the US. We respond to over 60,000 disaster calls nationwide every year. Our chapter alone handles over 500 calls annually. We provide immediate, identifiable, disaster-caused needs of victims of disaster.
Mission Statement
The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.
