Mission Statement

The Shepherd's Table mission is "Sharing God's Love One Meal at a Time." Our guests are the homeless, working and non-working poor, veterans, and senior citizens, including men, women, children, and families. Our aim is to improve the lives of those persons in Conway and the surrounding area who are experiencing food insecurity. We provide meals at no cost to anyone who walks through our doors hungry, no other requirement is needed. Our vision is to break the cycle of poverty one person, one family at a time and assure no one goes hungry in body or spirit. We provide a clean and safe environment for guests to sit down and fellowship with one another.

Description

The Shepherd's Table is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that was opened in 2008 by Lyn Snyder, through the years we have grown and doubled in size. Providing a meal is the first step in solving an immediate need. We aim to establish a relationship with our guests to address any broader issues they may be experiencing.
In 2018 we served 27,692 meals to people experiencing food insecurity. We gave out 3, 060 bags of food to carry our guests through the weekends and we helped 30 individuals acquire employment opportunities. Because to fully assist our guests we help facilitate access to other services within the community in hope of their success of becoming self-sufficient.
We could not do this without the help of generous volunteers such as you. We are in constant need of Group Volunteers as well as individuals.
