Mission Statement

VNTW's mission is to enhance the health, education, and social well-being of low-income and underserved people in the greater Houston area. VNTW is committed to excellence in community service, professional development, and cultural awareness.

Description

VN TeamWork was incorporated in 1996 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community-based organization. Since its incorporation, VNTW has grown in scope, providing more services to the community as needs arise.

Our current programs include Health screening and Health Education ranging from general health screening to diabetes, Breast and Cervical cancer screening and education; Community Service Programs that include translation services, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, Voter Education and Registration, legal Counseling, and assistance with application for health insurance like Gold Card, CHIP, and Medicare/Medicaid.

VNTW actively collaborates with other organizations from the Asian-American community and the community at large including American Red Cross, Harris County Hospital District, United Way of Texas, and many others to provide assistance to people with limited resources. VN TeamWork has always strived to give back to society and encouraged others to take an active role in the community.
