Mission Statement

The Diann Shaddox Foundation for Essential Tremor, a non-profit organization, is fighting the battle for ET, a neurological condition that causes a rhythmic trembling of the hands, head, voice, legs, and body. Over 10 million Americans and millions more worldwide have ET, but most people have never heard of it. Millions of children and adults live each day with uncontrollable shakes from Essential Tremor. Awareness, recognition, and education will stop the bullying, people losing their jobs, college students having their dreams disappear and end depression for people worldwide. ET can begin at any age and doesn't discriminate with age, race, sex, or national origin. Changing the way the world perceives ET is a start.

Description

Millions of children and adults live each day with uncontrollable shakes from essential tremor, the largest movement disorder in the world. Awareness and education will stop the bullying, people losing their jobs, college students having their dreams disappear and end depression for people worldwide who are living with hand, voice, head, and body tremors.
