Women For Children, a chapter of Friends of Doernbecher

WOMEN FOR CHILDREN is a great group of women from all walks of life. We are mothers, daughters, grandmothers, students, career women and everything in between. We are passionate about the health and care of the kids at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. Some of us have had a personal experience with Doernbecher, others not, but we all strive for the same thing - making sure children from our own community receive the very best care that they deserve.

FRIENDS OF DOERNBECHER is a volunteer organization dedicated to the long-term support of the hospital. Together, we’ve raised millions of dollars over the past decade to help build the hospital and support its critical programs. Volunteers form chapters, and choose one or more fundraising projects a year that they would like to work on together. These events not only raise money for Doernbecher, they also raise public awareness about the hospital itself. Our members decide how much time they can commit and how large their events will be. They are passionate about the on-going support of the hospital.
