FAMILIES FIT FOR GOOD

Description

Our dedicated team of volunteers organizes a n annual youth triathlon for children ages 6-14. We created this fun and inspirational race for kids to reinforce the importance of being active, staying fit and supporting the community . Our inaugural race was held in 2007 and it was a tremendous success, with 239 athletes successfully (and enthusiastically!) completing the race, over 500 additional spectators, and over $11,000 raised for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. We have since expanded the field to accommodate 300 athletes - the race sells out every year - and we consistently raise over $10,000 annually for CHOP. We even had a few young cancer survivors participate.
