Description
Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless (IPH) is located in Albany, New York, and provides services to homeless individuals and families since its founding in 1984. Interfaith's Emergency Shelter provides dormitory-style emergency shelter for 30 residents. Meals, showers, laundry, phone, fax, and transportation are basic necessities provided to all guests. Interfaith empowers people to become self-sufficient, to reduce dependence upon public assistance, teach life skills, and to eliminate homeless recidivism. Additional programs include the Sheridan Hollow Drop in Center which offers case management and a safe haven during the daytime hours. Life skills programs, assistance with job and affordable housing searches as well as showers, meals, storage lockers, phone and fax services are provided.
