Mission Statement

The mission of the PUAP is to promote the empowerment and development of children, youth, and their families in the community in which they live. PUAP Inc. believes that providing assistance to immigrant youth and families struggling in the resettlement process into a new culture rests in the hands of the community.

Description

PUAP’s focus in America has been making a sustainable difference in the lives of immigrants and refugee youth and their families by providing support and important life skills they need to successfully settle and integrate themselves into American Society. PUAP Int’l programs have demonstrated a successful way to work with a diverse community of international parents and the American Criminal Justice and Educational Systems to ensure that youths and their families reach their full potential for successful resettlement in America. The program services serve as a link between refugee/immigrant youth and families by providing advocacy, educational activities, mentorship, cultural diversity, health and problem solving assistance.
