Our organization matches a caring adult staff member or volunteer with a referred youth and will evaluate and match the youth's goals and interest to setup distinct mentoring and program participation; GED & College Prep Our GED Prep Program will be offered to Anne Arundel County, residents to help prepare for the GED exam to improve basic reading, writing, math, social studies, and science skills. The College Prep Program will be offered through an alliance with the First2Go for Middle and High School age students currently enrolled in Anne Arundel County Public Schools. Mentoring Our goal is to provide mentors to all children who need caring adult role models; special friends who can help expand their horizons, realize their potential and enrich their futures by changing their lives. Arts Program Will provide instructors for the young people looking to embark on a career in the entertainment industry to include acting, modeling, music, dance, writing, etc, this unique program will give them the guidance and support to follow their dreams. Drug Prevention The goal of the organization is to coordinate prevention and intervention plans and programs designed to help ensure the maintenance of safe and drug-free schools so that student academic achievement will be improved. Sports Program The Sports Team coordinates competitive sports leagues on a countywide basis. Leagues, camps and tournaments in numerous sports will be available for youths, programs are offered countywide, seasonally . Youth Group Trips Our trips are designed to offer teenagers the opportunity to explore life outside of their communities. This is to include but not limited to museums, plays, road trips, dining experiences, etc, depending on the particular needs of the communities in which we serve. Summer Program Our summer programs offer eligible students the opportunity to engage in challenging academic work in the company of peers who share their exceptional abilities and love of learning. While the focus is on rigorous academics and learning, the social experience that results from bringing these students together is an integral part of the program to include day camp, camp jobs, arts camp, and sport camp. Training & Work Program We offer education and employment opportunities are in place to help youth and adults become successful in their careers. We help young people stay in school or re-engage in school through a variety to build skills to ensure success in school and work. Intern Program Designed to help recruit exceptional young individuals into a variety of occupations. Individuals are appointed to a 1-year internship. Upon successful completion of the internships, the interns may be eligible for permanent placement within our organization. Food & Utility Assistance Our goal is to provide assistance to low-income families and individuals within the community. Some of those services include emergency home heating, rent and utility assistance, food assistance and shelter referrals. Youth Unique Expressions Inc, is a non-profit organization based in Anne Arundel County Maryland. Our youth programs are a collection of resources that seeks to capture the imagination, energy and hope of young people who are middle and high school age students, in order to productively and responsibly involve them as future leaders, entertainers. doctors, lawyers, etc., in most cases some young people go unrecognized due to lack of resources, community development, finaical assistance, empowerment, support, and confidence. Our organization will serve as a place that young people will have the opportunity to embark on their goals and dreams
Youth Unique Expressions Inc is being established to provide unique designed programs for at risk middle and high school youths in the Anne Arundel County area. The organization will create partnerships with the local school districts, juvenile court systems, etc We offer a exciting opportunity for our youths to be a part of an organization that meets their needs. Our youths are our first priority and because of this we make sure our TEAM believes in total community service. Our commitment to inspire, guide, encouraged, support, challenge, and empower the minds of many young people who have a desire to express themselves. our organization provides them the opportunity to experience their career choices with our unique programs. The youths in our communities can look forward to their future without having to worry about not being able to afford the proper training and experience that's what set us a part from the typical non-profits we focus on the youth and their families in effort to aid them and focus on their individual needs
