The North Suburban YMCA is a volunteer-led, non-profit community organization serving 12 communities of the North Shore. These communities include Buffalo Grove, Deerfield, Glencoe, Glenview, Highland Park, Highwood, Lincolnshire, Northbrook, Northfield, Riverwoods, Winnetka and Wheeling. As a human service organization we hold ourselves to these three standards:
- All programs must relate to our Judeo-Christian mission of human development.
- All income must go back into the YMCA to perpetuate our charitable purpose.
- YMCA programs must be affordable to the community the YMCA serves.
Mission Statement
The North Suburban YMCA promotes values that build strong families and the health of each individual's spirit, mind and body in an inclusive, welcoming environment.
