Mission Statement

AHOME seeks to increase the number of low- and moderate- income and minority home buyers in Arlington County and our Northern Virginia communities by providing outreach and home buyer education programs.

Description

AHOME provides free Virginia Housing Development Authority (VHDA) home buyer education classes and pre-purchase counseling to first time home buyers in Arlington and our surrouncing communities. Free foreclosure prevention counseling is available to homeowners in Arlington County. AHOME also provides post purchase counseling to home owners who are not in trouble but need help to improve their financial situation. Rental classes are offered to residents of Arlington's low- income apartments.
