Mission Statement

Our underlying philosophy and focus is contained behind the very meaning of the word "Donghwa (東和)". As the sun rises from the East (Dong 東), our hope is for a new day in which harmony and peace (Hwa 和) can shine together in our world. Through a collaborative exchange of Eastern and Western cultures, we aspire to raise deeper awareness and understanding of the diverse cultural makeup of our modern day society.

Donghwa Cultural Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization that strives to promote Korean and East Asian culture within American society through educational programs on traditional Korean music, arts, dance, and food.
