Team Chicago is often looking for people to help in the following functions:
- Serve as a liaison with a specific sport, sports organization, and/or league
Help Team Chicago produce the promotional events
Help promote participation in Outgames, Gay Games VIII, the Midwest GLBT Sports and Cultural Festival, and other sporting/cultural events
Collaborate on content for our website and newsletters
Fundraising activities to raise money for scholarships
Develop and maintain relationships with media collaborators, not only in Chicago, but also throughout the Midwest
Mission Statement
Team Chicago provides individuals and organizations with the opportunity to participate in sporting and cultural events according to their personal interests and capabilities. Team Chicago's mission is to provide support to the LGBT community, furthering participation, inclusion, and pursuit of personal best.
We do this through promotion, outreach, and sponsorship.
