In older times the highland games were opportunities for soldiers to test their metal when waiting for combat - or just to impress the ladies!
Today they are an opportunity to enjoy our heritage in a day full of fun.
The culture rich central New York area celebrates the historic, cultural and artistic best of many ethnic groups.
At the games it is our turn to share with you some of that which makes Celtic-Americans proud of their past and present. We will be thankful if you come visit us!
The day is full of bagpipes and drumming and highland dancing and parades and food and Scottish country dancers and athletics and clan and family histories and animals and games for kids and Celtic vendors with Celtic mementos and ..well.. just lots of exciting times for all!
