The mission of the Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Village is to share God's love in word and deed by providing shelter and supportive services to elder persons and others in need, believing that "In Christ's Love, Everyone is Someone."

The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society is the nation's largest not for profit provider of elder care.. with over 27,000 people calling Good Samaritan home. The Good Samaritan Village in Sioux Falls is home to about 400 seniors. Volunteers play an intregal role in the success of our commitment to provide the best quality of life for those we serve, no matter what stage of life they are in. We are always looking for compassionate people who can assist us in a wide range of individual and group volunteer opportunities. We welcome groups of all ages, families, organizations and individuals.
