Our Saviour's OutreachMinistries empowers people through innovative programs that respond to vitalhuman needs, improve quality of life, and provide opportunities for growth.

Locatedin the heart of the Phillips neighborhood of south Minneapolis , Our Saviour's Outreach Ministries was created in2004 to provide leadership for two programs that had been in existence since the early 1980's - the English Learning Center and Our Saviour's Housing.

TheEnglish Learning Center empowersadult immigrants and refugees with the language and cultural skills necessaryto fully pursue their dreams in the United States . Classesinclude English, math, computer and Citizenship exam preparation. Each year, over 400 students from 25+ countries studyand grow with us.

TheEmergency Shelter at Our Saviour's Housing provides shelter for 34 menand six women each evening. In additionto basic shelter and food services, residents have the opportunity to work withCase Managers and volunteer s to address the issues underlying their homelessness,and move toward creating more stable lives for themselves. Each year, the Emergency Shelter serves over700 people.

TheTransitional Housing at OurSaviour's Housing offers low-cost supportive housing for homeless men, womenand families. The residents work withCase Managers to set and achieve goals in order to attain greaterself-sufficiency and prepare for independent housing. Each year, our Transitional Housing programserves over 40 people and several families.
