I am truly impressed that after almost one year of monthly Operation Catnip clinics each event provides me with ever more challenging and stimulating duties and experiences. All of the many volunteers, both the professionals as well as the lay folk, give generously of their knowledge and hands-on experience. As a consequence, at the end of a long day, no matter how tired my body may be, my feelings of satisfaction and fulfillment keep my spirit smiling!

I have been volunteering with Operation Catnip for the past 6 months. Being a former veterinary technician and having a passion to help animals, I was drawn to this organization because of the good work they do. The spay/neuter clinic days are very long, but very rewarding. I've volunteered for a lot of organizations before, but Operation Catnip does the best (hands down) for mobilizing a lot of people with different backgrounds in an organized manner. I look forward to each volunteer experience with this wonderful group of people.

OC Gainesville has set the bar for all others to attain! :)Volunteers from all backgrounds come together on a given Sunday to spay and neuter hundreds of cats! Impressive to watch and fun to do!

I have been bragging to everyone since my volunteer experience that OC was SO organized I was blown away! It is AMAZING that 231 cats could be spayed/neutered and returned in such a short time with no chaos. As a first time clinic volunteer, I was given a task that was clear, focused, and important and I never felt overwhelmed or under-utilized as some volunteer operations tend to feel like. Alene, Shaye, and ALL the more seasoned volunteers and vet students functioned like a well-oiled machine and I will definitely do this again!
