Green Dot is a non-profit network of schools based in Los Angeles, California, serving over 10,000 students in 21 schools. In 2014, Green Dot opened its first school in Memphis, TN, and in 2015 it will open its first school Washington State.

Green Dot’s mission is to help transform public education so ALL students graduate prepared for college, leadership and life.

Unique in the nation, Green Dot is proving that it can achieve better student outcomes with a student population that mirrors the districts where it serves, lower per pupil funding than area district schools, and a unionized workforce. We are the leading network of public charter schools for high school graduates in Los Angeles and one of the top three largest in the nation.
