Wounded Warrior Project
The purpose of Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is to raise awareness and enlist the public's aid for the needs of severely injured service men and women, to help severely injured service members aid and assist each other, and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs.
The Wounded Warrior Project was founded on the principle that veterans are our nation's greatest citizens. The WWP seeks to assist those men and women of our armed forces who have been severely injured during the conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other locations around the world. Many of the injuries are traumatic amputations, gunshot wounds, burns, and blast injuries that will retire these brave warriors from military service.
Wounded Warrior Project's core values include fun, integrity, loyalty, innovation, and service.
The mission of the Wounded Warrior Project is to honor and empower wounded warriors.
"Honoring and Empowering wounded warriors."
