Mission Statement

Pegasus strives to instill in our clients the confidence needed for a more rewarding community life within a safe and nurturing environment. In this program, participants are encouraged to grow to their full potential, be more expressive, and to have hope.

Description

Pegasus the Arts is a creative arts program designed for adults with special needs. The program includes classes in the arts, drama/puppetry, writing, cooking, creative movement, sign language, music and health and nutrition. We are celebrating our 10-year anniversary and continue to grow our enrollment. We recently relocated to a larger facility in a better location, and we are working steadily to become more involved in our new community. We accept new clients who have intellectual/physical disabilities and are 18 years or older. Our program serves as a good option for students ageing out of other programs who would like to be part of a creative community.
