For 41 years, the Employment Skills Center has been helping individuals become more employable, productive, and self-sufficient community members through Education and Training. We are a community based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, a Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) authorized Adult Education provider, and a DonorEdge participant.

Formed in 1967, we have served more than 14,000 people in Carlisle and Cumberland County, helping them to become more self-sufficient and productive citizens. The educationally disadvantaged youth and adults that we serve are in need of raising their levels of basic academic skills, acquiring job-readiness and employability skills, passing the GED examination, and refining their life skills to enable greater achievements.
