Mission Statement

To provide therapeutic, competitive and recreational horseback riding for special populations at a minimum cost in a safe environment. To educate the general public to the benefits of therapeutic, competitive and recreational horseback riding programs through good public relations and use of media. To support and maintain horses used in The Retreat at Beckleysville’s Therapeutic and Recreational Riding Program and horses retired from this program or other therapeutic riding programs.

Description

We are a therapeutic riding facility offering horseback riding lessons to persons of all ages and with all disabilities. We are 100% volunteer-driven with all monies used for the care of the animals, facility, and appropriate programs for the riders. It is an inclusive program encouraging the community to interact with our special population.
