Mission Statement

Bridgeway offers the only Sexual Assault Emergency Room Response Teams (SART) in St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren Counties. SART volunteers respond 24 hours a day, seven days a week to area emergency rooms when a sexual assault victim enters the hospital for an exam.

Description

The Women's Center is a part of Bridgeway Behavioral Health and provides shelter and outreach services to victims and survivors of domestic violence. We are a 6-week program for women and their children who are escaping an abusive intimate relationship. We are a small program and only have 17 beds available. We provide daily groups which address various topics, including resources, self-esteem, health, and parenting. We also provide individual counseling as well as domestic violence education to children.
