Description

Are you looking for an enriching and interesting place to volunteer? Shalom House, an organization that serves women who are chronically homeless due to mental illness and addiction, is looking for computer lab and development volunteers. Volunteers in the computer lab will assist Shalom House residents in mastering computer skills along with designing resumes, undergoing job searches, applying for jobs, setting up and navigating e-mail accounts along with other miscellaneous computer tasks. This position takes place in two hour shifts between 9:00 AM-4:00 PM Monday through Friday. The development volunteer will assist the development team in administrative tasks related to the development side of nonprofit such as fundraising and public outreach, and takes place during Shalom House office hours (8:30 AM-4:30 PM).
